Depending on the wishes of the cohort these are all live online or live in person. Each session is preceeded with detailed handouts and you are given a reading list. On registration you are given full details of the accreditation process.You can access any training without going through the accreditation process. 
 
There is a total of 40 guided hours for Level 3 and a Workbook needs to be completed and returned to gain accredtiation, There is a total of 40 guided hours for Level 3 and a Workbook needs to be completed and returned to gain accredtiation, The course is now accredited with the British Dyslexia Association for ALSA ( Accredited Learning Support Assistant) . In addition to each session wider reading is expected and a resource produced and evaluated where indicated . A workbook of original work should be completed and submitted to the Course Leader a strict time limit of the course ending. You can apply for an extension and we will support any reasonable adjustments you need. You do not need to undergo accreditation and the courses can be accessed without registration for accreditation. We work closely with the Dyscalculia Network and they deliver two of the days. Tutors on the course have many years experience and have the highest qualifications. 
 
You can book 20 minute 1 to 1 tutorial if needed at a mutually convenient time and email support can be given at any time. Cost of the course is £400 (plus VAT plus OCN registration fee if accreditation is chosen). Courses have minimum numbers and can be commissioned and taken in your school setting. Katrina Cochrane is the Director of Positive Dyslexia Ltd and previously the Director of Edcuation for the BDA. She has written and presented many accredited courses from L2 to L7.She is an experienced specialist teacher and assessor.
