Positive Dyslexia Ltd provides accredited diagnostic assessments and specialist training for dyslexia and dyscalculia across the UK. We work with individuals, schools, colleges, and organisations.

Positive Dyslexia was founded on one belief: with the right understanding and support, dyslexic people achieve. Dyslexia is a different way of thinking, with strengths of its own.
We provide diagnostic assessments, accredited training and practical support for individuals, families, schools and employers.
Our APC-qualified assessors are based around the UK, which keeps waiting times short.
Katrina is the Director of Positive Dyslexia Ltd and previously the Director of Education for the British Dyslexia Association. She has written and presented many accredited courses from L2 to L7 and is an experienced specialist teacher and assessor with over 25 years of experience.

Katrina Cochrane
Director & Lead Assessor
APC, AMBDA, OCN L4 Trainer
Katrina is the Director of Positive Dyslexia Ltd and previously the Director of Education for the British Dyslexia Association. She has written and presented many accredited courses from L2 to L7 and is an experienced specialist teacher and assessor with over 25 years of experience. She has a particular interest in workplace assessments and supporting adults with dyslexia. She holds a current APC and runs the L3 and L4 courses.
Rob Jennings
Co-Founder of Dyscalculia Network
Rob is a co-founder of the Dyscalculia Network and tutors on our Level 3 course with Cat and Katrina.
Cat Eadle
Co-Founder of Dyscalculia Network
Cat co-founded the Dyscalculia Network alongside Rob and is one of the tutors on our Level 3 course.
Siobhan Eliot
Personal Assistant
Siobhan works closely with Katrina as her PA.
Christina Skinner
OCN Manager
Christina brings extensive administrative experience across education, charity, global HR and The Royal Enclosure at Ascot. She joins Positive Dyslexia to ensure every delegate receives a welcoming and professional experience.
Kim Brown
Assessor

Kim spent many years at the British Dyslexia Association and is an experienced assessor of adults in the London area. She also carried out workplace needs assessments .
Helen Grimes

Helen assesses both children and adults, online or in person in the Cardiff area.
Amanda Keen
Assessor
APC ( Dyslexia and Dyscalculia) AWNA
Working in the Aylesbury area, Amanda assesses children and adults for dyscalculia and dyslexia.
Jenny Linter
Assessor
APC
Jenny is a specialist teacher and assessor with over 15 years’ experience supporting children and young people across mainstream schools, specialist provision units and further education settings. She is also an experienced Modern Foreign Languages teacher and EAL specialist.
Rachel Turner

Rachel is an experienced special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) who assesses children in person across Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire.
Becky White

Becky carries out assessments for children and adults online.
Our associate assessors: We work with a network of nationally based APC-qualified associate assessors. All hold current APC qualifications and full DBS checks.
